Review: My first and only trip to Kelowna thus far (July 2022) to visit a Canadian friend who had relocated there. Got this little book to give me some insider secrets to what is truly a great small town with so many wonderful amenities. Even my Canadian friend who lived in Kelowna learned some new things from "Greater Than a Tourist" so you KNOW it's good! Can't wait to return to Kelowna because I know so much more now. And have a long list of even more things I'd like to do on my next trip!

Review: Unfortunately this book is basically a bad Google search printed on paper (of which there were many blank or partially printed on pages). The typos were egregious and I don't think anyone proof read the book. Aside from the poor grammar and proofreading, this book offers nothing in the way of insight or guidance to Kelowna. General descriptions are made with no specifics, ie. "Kelowna is home to four movie theatres" yet their names, locations, hours and websites are not listed). A glaring omission is a list of the local wineries with a description of each including location, website, hours, etc....I would NOT recommend this book. It's unnecessarily amateurish and not useful at all in helping someone navigate Kelowna.

Review: I am quite shocked that this book was ever allowed to be printed, let alone sold for almost $20. There are literally hundreds of spelling and grammar errors throughout the book - was this ever proof-read? Punctuation is lacking, sentences are either incomplete, or a run-on of ideas and incomplete thoughts.

There is no useful content in this book - spend your money and time elsewhere.
